Students will stay in 4 bedded rooms, all with en-suite facilities for students and twin en-suite rooms for staff where the students can enjoy the stunning views over the Rhone Valley.

At Ski Gower, we make it easy for you and your students. The 13 lifts and 29 pistes at Leysin are a great place for beginners to learn to ski. There is however a bus connection to Les Mosses, which means that intermediate skiers have another 14 lifts to enjoy in a combined area of 100kms of piste.

School ski trips take the road downhill to the ski shop where they will find the gondola station of Tele-Leysin, where skis are stored overnight. The ski shop is second to none with quality equipment for your school skiing trips.

British ski instructors for your school ski trip

Ski Gower want to ensure that your school ski trips are memorable and a good time is had by all the students whatever their skiing ability. Which is why, we always offer maximum time of snow for your school ski trips with our British Ski Instructors.

As soon as you arrive on the mountain, our British ski instructors make it easy for you. They provide daily ski instruction lessons until approximately 3:30pm each day. Your students will therefore receive in excess of 30 hours' instruction on their school ski trips.

Most school ski trips will only offer 2 x 2 hours per day instruction, so a maximum of 24 hours per week. With Ski Gower trips our 30+ hours' of instruction is like having an extra day and more, added on to your school ski trips. Ski instruction in English, is a vital element that ensures swift progression on snow and provides a safe and enjoyable experience for your team of students.

The evening entertainment

Leysin also offers a unique attraction: the Tobogganing Park founded by Silvio Giobellina, Olympic bobsleigh champion. This park offers 4 to 8 tracks with sharp bends, on which visitors shoot down on snow tubes. Thrills guaranteed for fans of new sensations.

Leysin boasts two sports centres offering groups and individuals a large range of indoor and outdoor sports: swimming and skating. If that is not enough then 30 mins away at Fun Planet in Villeneuve your school trips can enjoy ten pin bowling and karting.

The accommodation during your Leysin school ski trips

Just a 12 minute walk from the Tele-Leysin ski lift in Leysin, you will find our excellent accommodation for our school ski trips.

Run by two Canadians for the last 10 years and supported by English management staff, you will find this a real home from home. Nothing is too much trouble for the managers of the accommodation and they fully understand the mindset and culture of U.K. groups wanting to get the most out of their school ski trips.

The bedrooms are simple but very large with two bunk beds accommodating 4 students in each room. The rooms all have a shower and a toilet. The same large rooms are afforded to the school staff, but they only have twin sharing.

Downstairs in the public rooms, the school ski trips that we send to Leysin could not ask for more. The breakfast and dinner are self-service, so that no one ever goes hungry even after expending all that energy on the slopes.

The centre has a huge TV screen and a bar that serves non-alcoholic beverages to the students, but can serve alcoholic drinks to the school staff. There are two large rooms with games including pool tables and table football. In addition there are several rooms where the school ski trips can hold meetings or watch films or put on quiz evenings.
