One of our most popular resorts due to the excellent facilities at the Sports Centre where our groups stay, together with the easily-accessible large and varied ski area near the beginners' lift.

15 minutes' walk from the Sports Centre is a gondola to the beginners' area of Fiescheralp at 2100m with a gentle ski-lift and perfect slopes. Adjacent you will find the ski shop and the Berghaus where the group can enjoy a hot lunch instead of the usual packed lunch, all included in the holiday cost. What's more, the skis and boots are stored each night at the Berghaus free of charge.

In the evenings there is free use of the Centre's indoor swimming pool, sports halls and bowling alleys. You have your own lounge where you can play table tennis or watch DVDs for a very small charge per week. In Fiesch itself, the Cavern restaurant of one of the local hotels provides a superb venue for a pizza and ice cream evening. 

Fiesch (pop. 1000) sits at a lovely 1050m above sea level. Mild, clear summers and magnificent winters are characteristic of this village in the Alpine basin of the upper Rhone valley. There are fantastic panoramic views throughout the whole year. You can even see the Matterhorn at Zermatt on clear days.

Fiesch has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its view of the Aletsch Glacier

The amazing Aletsch Glacier with it's 24km of ice flow is the largest in the Alps and running at the back of the ski resort provides a superb micro climate, which keeps the snow in this resort well into April.

Eggishorn is the only point where you can marvel at the entire length and elegance of the Aletsch Glacier. From here you can see in the distance to the north the Eiger, Mönch and the Jungfrau.
